Ahimsa - Values Education
Ahimsa is a Natural Ecology Programme which encourages adults, children, and young people of all ages to embark upon a beautiful voyage of self-discovery through their interactions with natural Farming activity.
The Programme teaches the importance of living non-violently. This supports us in choosing non-violence in thought, word and deed throughout their own lives. Our Natural Ecology Education programme is based on our experiences of working on our own farm here at Meadows Farm. The Natural Ecology Programme seeks to nurture positive values in everyone through investigating different aspects of our own nature. The lessons studied throughout the programme are based on five topics; water, the land, nature, animals and our environment. |
Our aim is to continue to develop our farm, and for it to be developed primarily to promote the ethos of Natural Ecology; and to promote our research in society through our Ahimsa programme in schools, and the community.
Once we experience the importance of non-violence towards other beings, including ourselves. There will be a change in the way we see the world. |
